KEVIN JENKINS

Kevin has been designing for theatre for 12 years after training on the Motley Theatre Design Course. During this time he has designed for over 100 productions. A current project is Alan Ayckbourn’s production of A Brief History of Women for 59e59 theaters, New York.

Other designs for Alan Ayckbourn at the Stephen Joseph Theatre include Taking Steps, A Brief History of Women, No Knowing, The Karaoke Theatre Company and Consuming Passions. Kevin has designed many productions for Sheffield theatres, most recently A Dream, What We Wished For, The Changing Room, Hospital Food and Hearts. He is working on Songs from the Seven Hills, this year’s production by Sheffi  eld People’s Theatre.

 

Other credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Curve), Shiv (Curve) 1936 (Lilian Baylis Studio, Arcola Theatre),Troublesome People (Ashrow Theatre Co), Hamlet (Blue Apple Theatre Co), Hypothermia (Full Body and the Voice), Sonata (Tara Arts), Abigail’s Party (Stantonbury Theatre), A Doll’s House (Stantonbury Theatre), Ghosts (Stantonbury Theatre), A Wedding Story (Tristan Bates Theatre) and sets for Co-Opera Co’s productions of Albert Herring, La Bohème, Carmen, The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute.
